Creators are encouraged to re-purpose, edit, and trim these into short audio formats suitable for Short Mic. Terms & Conditions: Content Review: All submissions will be reviewed by the Short Mic editorial team for appropriateness before approval. Copyright: Creators must ensure their content does not violate copyright. Payments will be withheld for any content under copyright dispute. Content Rights: Upon payment, Short Mic acquires full permissions to use, repurpose, or distribute the content without necessarily crediting the creator. Applicable taxes will be deducted and subject to payment terms and conditions. Payment Tiers: Tier 1: 0-1,000 views/likes on the original platform: INR 10 per short audio Tier 2: 1,001-10,000 views/likes on the original platform: INR 30 per short audio Tier 3: Over 10,000 views/likes on the original platform: INR 50 per short audio Payment tiers are calculated based on two primary considerations: Total views on YouTube for the content. If the same content is posted on both Instagram and Facebook, we consider the highest count of likes between the two platforms. The tier total is calculated by summing (1) and (2). These totals are fixed based on the counts on the date when the content URL is submitted to Short Mic and will not be revised thereafter. This method ensures a fair evaluation of the content's popularity and engagement at the time of submission. Example: Imagine you have a video titled 'Quick Meditation Routines' that you want to submit to Short Mic. On the day you submit the content URL, the video has 8,000 views on YouTube. Simultaneously, the same video has been posted on Instagram and Facebook. On Instagram, it received 4,500 likes, while on Facebook, it received 3,000 likes. For calculating the payment tier: From YouTube: 8,000 views Highest likes on social platforms: 4,500 likes on Instagram (since it's higher than Facebook) Sum total for tier calculation: 8,000 (YouTube views) + 4,500 (Instagram likes) = 12,500 Based on our payment tier structure, if 12,500 falls into Tier 3, you would be compensated accordingly. This total is fixed at the time of URL submission and will not change, ensuring that payment reflects the content's popularity at the time of submission."
